Can't get a new credit card

in Credit cards
I have 4 credit cards that are all up to the credit limit. I have tried to apply for new credit card as I am paying loads of interest but have been rejected.
I am paying miniumum payments every month as I can't afford any more, but at this rate I will never pay them off. I have been improving my credit rating over last few months (i have checked on experian) but I don't know where to go now as I am not getting anywhere with apying my existing credit cards off?? Help!

why would another credit card be your savior if you have 4 maxed out what would a new creditor see? a person who is living beyond there means you may have a good credit file but in order to improve it you would need to pay all credit cards to around 30% of your limit for your debt to availble debt to improveyou cant change yesterdaybut you can make tomorrow better0

The score on experian does not really mean much i'm afraid.
The banks will have thie own criteria for working out your credit score and this will vary from bank to bank, but experian will not have all the basic information that they will go by.
You can have about 3 credit searches in a 6 month period before your score is affected so watch out for this.
Also make sure your address details are correct on all 3 of the credit reference agencies as this could influence why you are being rejected. And make sure you are on the electoral roll at your address.
You can get your credit report sent throught the mail from the CRA's for onlt £2 each so this may be the place to start. Then just keep making sure you are making all payments on time etc. After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
