From what you have said, you have your child care sorted out. If your mother is happy to do the school run then you really do have the best solution. What about school holidays? Will your mum help there too?
If you are happy that your childcare arrangements are sound then I would say bite the bullet and give it a go. They obviously think you've got what it takes.
What is the worst that will happen? You find you can't manage and resign and wait until the youngest is a bit older and try again. I'm sure that once you start, your confidence will increase and you'll wonder why you ever worried. Just think how wonderful it will be to go and do something for yourself and not just be X's Mum or Y's wife (not to mention the extra money)
Congratulations and Good Luck - let us know what you decide and how it all goes.
dont know about the summer holidays at the mo but will be a mixture of both nans and a sister in law, i did feel like i was putting on people a bit but everyone said they really want to help and thats more than some people get! i will give it a go and to be quite honest if the kids are happy that will make me happy! thanks all for your great comments, its good to know that there are great people on this forum who really do give great help.
will keep you all posted! here starts my new positive life

I'd give it a try....especially as you have family support (something many single parents would kill to have) and not have to use childminders.
As fuul time mum says-if it doesn't pan out then you can always resign and go back to cleaning-but I bet you don't ! Quality evening time is much nicer-annual leave can cover some "events" and the NHS are pretty good with banking hours and flex so it may not be as bad as you think. School holidays -yes there will be challenges but with holiday clubs as you say it'll be harder on you rather than them and the trade off will be more money to spend on doing fun things together when you DO have time off together.
Go for it !!! And don't forget to let us know how you get on
