DFI Lanparty socket 754 motherboard for £12 plus P&P

Pretty much as in the title, available on Overclockers UK website:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/BGrade_Motherboards.html#aBG_2d008_2dDF

Its probably a one off or at least there'll be limited quantities available. I'm sure before long though this'll turn into another Overclockers-bashing thread :)

  • Looks a bargain - I may buy a load, put them on ebay without checking they work, then refuse a refund per the T&C of my auction if any are actually damaged and refuse to acknowledge that damage could have occurred in the post between overclockers and myself. That would leave me £££ up and some poor punter just under £70 worse off.

Comes with a 14 day warranty so could be worth a punt, but I don't have a 775 processor to test it with.

Or you could get yourself a "cheap" graphics card:
    **B Grade** Connect3D ATI Radeon X800 XT 256MB DDR3 VIVO TV-Out/DVI (AGP) - Retail (BG-011-CO)
    Originally sold at £239.95+VAT
    Price: £250.00 (£293.75 Including VAT at 17.5%)
    Now that's what I call saving :D

  • Can anyone find their definition of B-Grade?

Does it mean "Been Working but now knackered"-Grade?

Socket 754 is for Athlon 64 and some top-end Semprons (2800 up), not Intel ;)

I've ordered stuff from their B-Grade section before, they will usually (though not always) be working but may not come with any accessories. they will all be used.

If anyone's planning to sell them on via ebay, its best to test them first. There's some very dishonest people out there who just buy them in, ship them out, then refuse to refund.
