there was some talk a long time ago that if you type in pigback without the s you get onto a dubious site. Of course I have never tried that............;)

But duplicate posts show that people don't read the thread properly. Please read the previous pages' posts to make sure you are not duplicating on the same day.

Last week the same CT was posted 3 times by 3 different people in just over an hour. This makes the thread more difficult to read and leads to confusion, especially when we are not told who the CT is for.

If a person makes a duplicate post it is very easy to delete.

Go to your post, click on edit, click on delete and then click on delete message.

    1. Agreed, in an ideal world, but we all have varying amounts of time on our hands and we all make mistakes. It can be very demoralising, especially for a new poster, to be shot down in flames by the regulars.

    2. The rebukes take up another post on top of the mistakes (even if you do go back and delete them later).

The forums here have always been very friendly. It would be a shame to spoil them by squabbling over a few errors.

The birthday details part of the site is currently unavailable awaiting the coders to redo it, and has been so for quite some time. fingers crossed if you had your points last year you may get them again this and in most cases it has been 100pp when this has happened, Some have some hav`nt i`m afraid just the luck of the draw. there have been some here that have e-m P.B. and recieved them this way but does seem to depend on who you get opening the mail in the P.B. offices. I think a seperate racecaller thread would be better.

Finally heard from pigsback that we're getting the alliance & leicester points due (5000) in August.
Sadly it'll be too late to use them before we go on holiday, but a nice amount to come home to!! :j

I am new to piggy and to this thread and if the racecaller had been in separate thread I wouldn't have known about it and would have been missing a) lots of fun b) lots of points

I prefer to keep the Racecaller and Pigsback altogether, it's much easier to keep track.
