I need head phones.

I need to buy head phones for my pc. as I live in a tiny flat and the pc and tv are in the same room, I brought some at pc world and they don't cut the sound out. can anyone suggest the best ones to buy, my partner is quite deaf and has the tv just a bit loud at times. I hope to get a pair that are not to expensive. Any ideas please?

Either get an in ear pair, like a pair of isolation plugs, or get a closed pair (where they cup round your ear, not just sit against it).

Personally for computer use I'd go with a closed pair of headphones. Something like a pair of Sennheiser HD201's would do you fine and not break the bank.

They can be tricky to get hold of as they are an older model, but meant to be better than the HD202's.

Also, pop into WHSmiths on the way home, and flick to the back of What Hi-Fi, they have an archive of any headphones they've reviewed. Make sure you get the best for your money. My pair cost me £40 3 years back and are still working perfectly, a worthy investment.

Here's a cool forum too that's probably worth having a flick through:
