Question about Bradford and Bingley esaving account

I opened this account and a day later they cut the intrest rate, can I leave £1 in it or does the balance have to be above £1000 ?

No, you need to keep £1000+ in the account. I don't see why you can't close the account, though, but do you really have anywhere that would be much better to put the money?0

If you think it's worth an extra £1.50 per year per thousand (minus lost interest during the transfer), then go for it.0
