HM Frozen chips??

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if you can make chips and then freeze? My OH is obsessed with chips for nearly every meal, and whilst I am trying to wean him off, I am a bit partial too  !
I was thinking of part cooking (in the fryer??) then freezing and just popping in the fryer for five minutes or so to finish them off. I usually alternate between making them myself and using a bag of shop bought frozen chips.

I couldn't find a reference on the web but I really don't see why not; though if you're going to have to get the fryer out to finish them off you might as well just cook them from scratch anyway? No?
Or were you thinking of part frying a big batch and then oven cooking your extras some time later?Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. HM fried chips are best done with a double fry anyway, so yes, I think a quick 5 minute fry then freezing them on an open tray would probably work well!"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"
