vista probs?

I find now when i go online it is really slow and when i click on something there is a delayed recaction before it works, roughly 10 -20 seconds or so, when i first got this computer a week ago it was quite fast and was great, but now it has slowed down even worse than my last computer.

Have done virus scan, spybot scan, diskcleanup etc but still no use, any ideas what could be causing this?

how much ram have you got? that might need upgrading?!

saying that.. a week old computer, "shouldn't" be doing that!

what software have you installed since you got it. Any thing like toolbars, Messenger services etc etc... maybe trying rolling back to last week, and seeing if you can find the culprit that way

computer has 1.99 ram

not much software on, had a prob with my router recently, got a new disc that works on vista, but for the last few days the usb light on the router keeps flashing and sometimes it doesnt let me connect, cant recall whether the probs started then or not?

i have added a yahoo toolbar, roboform, msn messenger on the internet

could be linked to the usb light flashing maybe
