Hi
Sorry if there is a website for this but couldnt find one.
Could someone please tell me how much I would get on a refund of duty for 6 months, it has 3 FULL months left left to run, it cost £101.75.
How much will I be refunded?!
Thanks in advance for your help

Harveybobbles is correct - you get a pro rata refund on the cost of an annual licence. The extra 10% you paid on a 6 month licence is not refunded0

You selling the car or taking it off the road?0

It is being sold to a scrapyard as had to many time wasters and been offered a good price, I also know it will be taken off road as they told me they will give me a "notice of a car to be never returned to the road (EVL)" as heard that some scrapeyards park the cars on the road and the old owner gets the tickets.
Selling the car to them end of week, will be crushed be told, shame as it has 3 weeks MOT and no doubt with a new wheel bearing it would go through a MOT, I have new car so no longer needed.

Make sure you also return Section 9 (yellow) from your logbook/V5C to notify DVLA of the disposal to the scrap trader. You can send it in with refund form. You will then get letter of acknowledgement within 4 weeks.
