I have AV Plasma cleaning wipes by a company called Ixos. Can't remember if they're from poundland 99p shop or jtf. They do wipes for electrical equipment/computers at the above shops and home bargains which do the same trick.

You can get special dry cloths and spray also, but the name escapes me (and I'm stuck at work!)

I'll have a look when I get home for the name etc.

  • By no means the most economical, but the AF Wet/Dry wipes are great.

You'll probably find them cheaper if you search.

I also reccomend a microfibre cloth. Failing that, before I had my cloth, I used to damp some kitchen roll until it is soft (so you dont scratch the screen) then wring it out completely.

This worked on my monitor, screen on a digital camera and my Aunt's plasma TV.

First turn it off and leave it off till it is cool! Or no matter what you do it smears.

Then get a damp microfiber cloth (with hot water), wipe over, then use a dry microfiber cloth to dry it and polish it up.

I have a 50inch screen and two kids I HATE that flippin TV! So far this is the best meathod I have found. Works on LCD's too.
