Short Term Car Insurance

Does anybody know of any companies that offer short-term car insurance.

My premium is up for renwel, however I'm going travelling in January so wont need it for the full twelve months.

My current insurer (Tesco) has advised me to pay by monthy direct debit and cancel it when I no longer require it.

The only trouble with this option is that I would occur a cancellation fee equivilent to one months payment.

So if anyone knows of any company offering Car Insurance for a three month period or less, I'd be grateful.

Thanks in advance.

Stay with Tesco. There are still Companies that do short term cover but the prices are exorbitant......
