No response from EmpireStore

I placed an order using a 25 discount code about a week ago, and only received their order confirmation email. It seemed that there was no progress at all. I sent several messages by their online contact, but got no reply. I called them several times, but no result got or no one received the call. I dont know what was wrong with them.
As I am a new customer of Empire Stores, I can not register online without Customer Reference Number. They did not say what time the order will be with me. So I have no choice but wait. disappointing completely. Does anyone have the same experience? Thanks

I placed an N73 which is in stock, but they said it is out of stock.

Have you had an Empire Catalogue or did you just order online?

I ask because it might be a case of if you regsiter online you are credit checked and the order not progressed until you pass the credit check, if you don't pass, they may not be able to offer you account facilities and thus not be able fulfill your order.

I would certainly keep calling them and see what is going on.

I ordered online. I am sure I can pass the credit check. They wont get back to you. Poor service.

Is Empire part of littlewoods?

I hate the way with these companies you can't just order online and pay there and then. Sometimes (not very often, but at least twice in the past 12 months) they have had really good prices on things I have been looking to buy. I can only assume the prices are so good becuase they try to lock you into account facilities at stupid% APR.

Empire is joining the littlewoods empire, so thats an end to freebies and great money off deals!!
