footballshirtshopuk Advice

Options
I ordered a shirt from footballshirtshop.com.
I should have thought that £25 was too good to be true, Its um, Very FAKE

Anyway the company address on the site is listed here, http://www.footballshirtshopuk.com/Company-Address.html as an address in Middlesex, BUT
Then the goods arrive from Thailand, I would have not even considered if I had found that in the first place.
As always I googled for reviews and didnt find anything that suggested they sell fakes, until it arrives and I google footballshirtshopuk fakes :o

And to make things worse I didnt read these little bits on the website...

Footballshirtshopuk.com does not represent the products for sale on website to be authentic . Also we do not represent that they are exact replicas of authentic team merchandise that you may see on other sites. Our Shirts may differ from authentic shirts and we will not accept returned items due to our shirts not being authentic.

and.........

We do not take resposibility for lost parcels when the following delivery deatials are given. PO Box addresses , UK, British and USA Armed forces delivery addresses. A large percentage of parcels sent to these addresses are lost ,stolen or misplaced and we do not accept resposibility for these parcels reaching there destination. Proof of dispatch will be kept and given to customers in these cases. Details of dispatch and terms and conditions you agreed to will be used in a court of law if required.

So it appears that if it didnt turn up I cant claim a refund

BUT......
The picture they use is the same one as the genuine shirt, but the one they send looks slightly different

As the company address is in Middlesex surely they have to comply with UK consumer law, and not state these ludicrus T&C...
Which I should have read in the first place :o

I would have thought it was illegal, if the picture doesn't correspond to what you receive, give trading standards a call. I'm not sure it's even legal to sell non-authentic shirts? the bit about the court of law sounds like b/s.
Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?

    Hi,

Not sure about whether they are fakes or not - but if the product did not turn up, then you would be able to claim a refund - unless you asked them to send it to a PO Box or military address - isn't that what the T&Cs say - how is that unfair?
