Bedroom door won't stay open

Hi,
My sons bedroom doors has never stayed fully open, the door slowly closes but not completely. Does anyone have any ideas on where to start to solve this? Is it the floor not being level, hinges or anything else?
Its been like this for over 3 years and its finally doing my head in!
Thanks in advance.

One hundred and one reasons!
Door hang badly?
Frame moved or out of square?
House subsiding?
The door will always go to the lowest point so packing/moving the hinges will normally work if its not way out.0 -
Right, I've spoken to the door and told it that we have a date this weekend! Let battle commence!
The door will stay open. :-)0 -
