DISCLAIMER: Haven't actually tried this but it does all sound OK!!

OK, that's over, now here is the deal. Using a site called Trialpay you can get items cheap / free by trying offers - nothing new I know, but in this instance the deal gets you Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 Full 1 Year Version.

Trial Pay has six offers to try including Vista Print, LoveFilm. emusic, a book club and InkClub (yes, many usual suspects here). The InkClub deal seems best - no tie in etc. just buy anything to activate the deal.

They have items for under £3 (printer paper, t-shirts!!, etc.) and P&P is £2.99 i.e. total under £6. They also sell blank DVDs, CD's, Memory Cards, ink cartridges as well so there could even be something you need. (they also have a free item under many printer types - usually paper or ink - not sure if this would work as well?)

Make the purchase and then (in theory) the deal should activate almost immediately. I haven't tried as I already have AV, but it does sound a good deal (or maybe I am a sucker!!)

The deal can be found here:

  • Kaspersky is good, but AVG Free is better and free! Have tried both, I prefer AVG as its less resource consuming.

Not only that it's like comparing a room with a house. AVG free is only an anti virus program. Not an entire security suite.

I know i know, it was in reply to dagger_meerkat vbmenu_register("postmenu_11439261", true); in what anti-virus engine is better in which i beleive kaspersky has a better engine.

AFAIK, most lab tests also agree with that assertion as well. (Personally I'm an Eset user but if someone wants to pay for security I'll recommend Kaspersky as well as Eset).

Im an ex-eset user but made the switch about a year ago, mainly as you can get an OEM kaspersky licence so cheap and i beleive it is better than eset.
