Does TPS stop working when you switch away from BT?

I've recently moved broadband and calls to Sky and have been getting 4 or 5 calls a day from cold callers.
Does TPS expire and need renewed - or is it just available for BT customers? I still have my line rental with BT.

It should not make any difference who supplies your calls ,but just in case you have been deregistered, reregister here.

If the calls are coming from Oversea,s they are not covered by TPS.0 -
In my experience you lose your TPS registration when you switch CPS provider. You will need to re-register.0
