I think it might be more a case if the OR notices its not a 'normal' plate to be honest by the sounds of it so this might be one of those things to let your mind slip on as your filling in the paper work and plead ignorence/stupidety if sussed, for the mony your talking its not exactly a hanging offence is it:p.

I completely forgot about a moped that had only got about 500 miles on the clock, and that didn't show up in any search.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
Or, you could sell the plate to a trusted friend to pay for essential expenditure.;)

TBH i will just put it on retention, pay cash and hope no one notices. If they do I'll play dumb (I'm good at that apparently:rolleyes: )
The OR wont/shouldn't see the log book/mot anyway should they if i am handing the car back/taking it to auctions etc
