I was wondering, if I just finished my last exam, can i claim job seekers allowance until I get a job?
just for a bit of pocket money

you can only claim job seekers once the term offically ends.
The dole office has its own list of when universities offically end which can be very different to what the university thinks it is! a lot later in the year from my experience so i'd gone ask the job centre.What's it going to be, eh?0 -
If your entitled to it go for it. also housing benefit and council tax benefit too.
If your not too worn out from learning after doing your course also check out the Individual Learning Account (ILA) too. The ILA gives you an allowance of £200 a year if your income is below £18,000 or £100 a year if it is above £18,000.
It gives you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in a skill area or complementary subject that might not a have been covered in your course.0
