Loads of summer bedding plants reduced at B&Q

Hi

I've just come back from my local B&Q Scotwood Road Newcastle, with a load of cheap bedding plants from 10p most expensive was £1 they were for 1 ltr potted ones.

They had loads that were salvageable, trailing begonia's, fushias, daisy type ones, ivys, lilies and loads more.

Not sure if any others have the same offers but worth a look.

You might also be lucky and they won't have realised that the special offer that is on the full price bedding plants also happens on the reduced one. They lady that served me said that some people had ended up getting them for FREE.

Hope this helps someone.

  • Thanks alih85, i'll go and have a look tomorrow, when they sold stuff off cheap last year i managed to get seeds and cuttings from the plants for this year so will go and see if our B&Q are selling bedding off cheap here!
  • My son bought me some really reduced plants at Christmas, they did look a little worse for wear but with some tlc they are looking good in the garden right now!

I have been to B&Q at Warrington this morning and there are no reductions of bedding plants - in fact there were trolleys of lots of new stock.

Exactly the same in the B&Q near me. I think I'm going to have to hope that the greengrocer down the road has some bedding plants as they are cheaper even at full price.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p
