Thanks for that - my friend was on about something like thistles beginning with C I think that's what she meant.
We are going to get the flowers from the local market.Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

That castle looks stunning, I think I'd go with that all things being equal (ie not having two sets of divorced parents and wanting to 'bulk' them out with other relatives and friends!). But the Winter Gardens is gorgeous too, if you have a birthday party there it will be cheaper, when I spoke to Glasgow City Council they charge more for weddings than parties in their venues.Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!

I,ll remember that if I ever get married again,dont mention the word wedding when enquiring about prices.Seems to be a common theme in the threads and so unfair.
