So love the winter gardens that I am keeping the details ina file to use the first chance I get,40th birthday bash perhaps?Not long till then.Or the in laws ruby wedding is in 2 years time.

That castle looks stunning, I think I'd go with that all things being equal (ie not having two sets of divorced parents and wanting to 'bulk' them out with other relatives and friends!). But the Winter Gardens is gorgeous too, if you have a birthday party there it will be cheaper, when I spoke to Glasgow City Council they charge more for weddings than parties in their venues.

I,ll remember that if I ever get married again,dont mention the word wedding when enquiring about prices.Seems to be a common theme in the threads and so unfair.
Actually,I,ll ask them the price for the party date and see just how different the costs are.
