Router not connecting automatically?

Hi

I have a Belkin router and wireless utility.

If I use my PS3 the wireless/internet is always fine.

However if (unless I haven't been using the PS3) I switch the PC on, I always have to go to 192.168.2.1 and click 'connect' before accessing the net.

Is there anyway of tweaking this so it connects automatically?

Cheers

Does it disconnect if the router is left powered up?

If it does, you may have an option to disconnect after X minutes of inactivity.

    Hi

There is the option to change 'login timeout' which was set to '10' in utilites>system settings, would this be the one?

    Cheers

No that's not the one. That just resets your login screen so that you would have to re-login after 10 minutes to adjust any settings. What's the model number of your belkin router?

    i. Dial on Demand - By selecting “Dial on Demand” your Router will automatically connect to the Internet when a user opens up a web browser.

    j. Idle Time (Minutes) - Enter the maximum idle time for the Internet connection. After this time has been exceeded, the connection will be terminated.

Obviously didn't read the user manual then! Although Belkin documentation is crap.
