I ordered an item 2 weeks ago but on the next day i ordered i rang up to cancel as i was told it was a delay and may take up to 4 weeks due to being out of stock....i was then told it would get cancelled and my refund would be issued.
Well i get home Friday to find my partner signed for something and that it was the goods i had cancelled
They have refunded the money into my bank account but then have delivered the goods , i tried to ring them and im put on hold for ages its annoying as now i have to waste me phone bill chasing some mistake of theres
...so do they expect me to send them back at my own cost , the item is quite heavy.....
Not sure how they made this mistake , item is worth £199

So long as you tell them you have it, it will be their responsibility to get it back. You may be lucky and get to keep it.
I ordered curtain rails and voiles from Next. They sent them 3 times but did not bother to collect the others even though they said they would. That was over a year ago.0 -
Write a letter to them and send it by normal post telling them that you have the goods, state they are available for collection, you can be contacted on a telephone number for them to arrange collection and you will hold them for 28 days.
This will be quicker than phoning and if they are like most companies with 08xx numbers probably cheaper.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

I'd send it Signed For, there is then proof they received the letter and they can't deny either. Not that they'd do that  but just to be sure.0
