how many protected tariffs are there going to be offered and withdrawn etc before the prices go up

its a theorotical q but im dubious of signing a protected tariff and then paying inflated prices for 2 months :mad:

its so WRONG how the energy companies win ALL THE TIME:confused:

    Why is it wrong ? these companies are in business to make a profit, if their costs go up they have to increase their prices.
    If they didn't make a profit they wouldn't bother selling energy, and we'd all be sitting in the dark and the cold !

    Wrong as in they already make record profits based on current wholesale prices , yet any murmur of increases and thousands of people sign up to inflated prices in panic
    This is what i mean when i say they win every which round
    And the consumer loses , there IS competition but its already at a high cost level so the energy companies cant lose , competition or not
