Hi there.
I wonder if anyone could recommend me a 50 cm wide cooker.
Looking at either gas or electric (with fan assisted oven) with a budget of up to £400.
The only limitation is that if we go electric it has to be suitable to be installed on a 30 amp circuit.
Cheers.

I'm not sure about brand but I can recommend looking at dixons.co.uk I just recently purchased a 60cm Stoves all gas cooker and managed to save a fair bit. Appliances are very keenly priced and we managed to buy the Cooker, American fridge freezer and washing machine and saved about £400 compared to my local Comet and Currys...
All gas cookers tend to be a bit more expensive best bet is a duel fuel. I think at £400 your over estimating you could quite easily get one much cheaper
Cookers generally don’t go wrong so me personally I’d avoid the extended warrantees

I used to have a 50cm wide cooker in my last house - I can't remember which make exactly but it was either Belling or Tricity.0

i just purcahsed a belling cooker from dixons also, listed as £600 in currys paid £400! i would suggest(as this is what i did) do the rounds at you local dixons, currys comet etc, find one you like the look, sound of, an then enter the make and model number into yr search engine to find the cheapest place selling it, like i sais saved myself £200. never buy from currys, they are always over priced!!!!
hopr thats helpful x0 -
Remember that if you find one you like online hunt around for voucher codes as I did... I got a further £40 off with a dixons code if I spent over £1000. Once you got a final price and your not keen on buying online take it to your local shop and ask them to price match.. you might be surprised!0
