Is there any high street account out there currently offering a good rate of interest? Any suggestions?

Chelsea B/Soc have a 90 day notice account for balances over £250 paying 6.50%. The notice requirement falls away from July 2009 apparently.
They also have a 'rainy day' savings account with a bit less interest. There are conditions on withdrawals, I don't know the details I'm afraid.0 -
Page 255 on BBC2's analogue Teletext is a useful reference for this sort of query.Charlton_King wrote: »Is there any high street account out there currently offering a good rate of interest? Any suggestions?Their - possessive pronoun (owned by them e.g. "They locked their car").
They're - colloquial/abbreviated version of 'They are'
There - noun (location other than here e.g. "You can buy groceries there") OR adverb (in or at that place e.g. "They have lived there for years") OR adverb (to or towards that place e.g. "Go there at noon") OR adverb (in that matter e.g. " I agree with you there").0
