Plaster over damp wall?

I have been stripping the wallpaper off a wall which is right under the bath-tub. A lot of the plaster is loose and falling off, and there are a couple of small patches of dried out mould. The wall is dry now. I've never had a flood, leak, or large spill, but I think it's only to be expected that a little water is going to be dripped above this wall. Should I get the wall re-plastered, or is there a better solution, like boarding over it?
Thanks,

Presuming that the wall is in a room directly under the bathroom, knock off the loose plaster, brush off any deposits, use a salt neutraliser on the bare bricks, bond and then skim. Getting the East Midlands Plastered0
