Shower heads - info and help please (any plumbers on here?)

Looking for some help from you kind people.
I have a Mira Event XS power shower and the shower head recently broke. I was looking for a replacement but had some trouble.
I've found that the multi function heads are rubbish and the ones with a single "rain" function are the best. The one that broke came from Focus and was brilliant and they don't do the same now. I bought a cheap one to tide us over but it didn't push the water through as fast. I then bought a nice looking on off ebay but this is even slower and it's rubbish. It sounds like the shower is straining as it can't push the water through fast enough
Can anyone advise what I need to be looking for when looking to buy one? I know that the bar measurement is important and I would imagine my power shower is 0.5 bar or something like that but do I need to look for one designed for a power shower? Also, is the washer important as this head didn't come with one, but someone said the wrong washer can make it worse.
Appreciate any help!
