I've been Money Tipped!
At last found a deterrent for cats using my garden as a toilet - COLEUS CANINA, also known as the "SCARDY CAT PLANT".....http://plants.thompson-morgan.com/product/1593/1

Hi, I've recently ordered some of the COLEUS CANINA plants to see if that works. There has been mixed reviews on it some say it does work, others say it doesn't.

Other things that have been mentioned by people on other threads are orange/lemon peel, raw garlic, bottled water & tinfoil (for its reflection) spread around your garden. Not all at the same time but each one has been mentioned as a deterant for cats anyway.

There is also Lion poo from the zoo.

Not sure what would scare a rabbit off though.

next door cat comes in our back garden, and just sits on the shed roof, but my little girl does not like cats and wont play in the garden, will 'chicken wire netting' layed across on top of shed roof stop it from getting on shed?

    thankyou

You are better of in the long run getting her use to cats. (Teach her to scare them off.) Otherwise she is going to spend the rest of her life running away from them which gets ridiculous when you are an adult.

I am always removing/scaring cats off, keeping people away from dogs or catching spiders for people I know.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

    she does scare them off
but because the cat just sits on shed roof and wont go, she does not like it watching her, so wondered if chicken wire would stop it from getting on shed roof?

If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Somebody told me the curry plant (helichrysum) would deter my cat....but she just ate it. I blame my husband for giving her curry when she was a kitten!
