Vanquis- OH dear made mistake in applying!

I asked my hubby if he would apply to Vanquis for a card, mainly my old addiction to see if we can get one.
Anyway, when it comes to the section, how long you have lived at address, 3 years went in, instead of 1 year? We only realised afterwards, it didn't ask for previous address. The application had been sent......
It was with me yapping, so we emailed them, worried they may see it as fraud:eek:
Any thoughts?

If there is no adverse credit at your last house and hence no reason for wanting to cover it up, then I think they'll most likely be OK.

Their credit searches will bring up linked addresses anyway, so I don;t think it's likely that the credit decision will be any different despite his mistake.

If there is adverse info at the other property, then they might choose to report it, but as you followed it up quickly with an explanation, can't see it being an issue

Just out of curiosity do Vanquis give an answer immediately after an application?
No wonder they said with this application, they would get back in a few days time!
