From the "horse's mouth", Nationwide answers some questions recently about online banking from its customers...

Some points to note:
Same day 'set up and pay' bill payments are coming soon, apparently...
An account of why it takes 2 days for bill payments to reach their destinations [it's not the fault of NW, in other words]....
The only trouble with that answer is that it actually takes 3 days [eg Mon to Thu] for a NW bill payment to travel across. Most other banks' payments take two.
[could do better!]
.. and 'BACS' is now likely to be referred to as 'Voca' in some places, it seems...

Slight misunderstanding. Voca Ltd is the new company trading name, whilst BACS will continue as the payment "method".
