Technika TV

Hi guys,

I have just bought a 32" Technika LCD HD TV from Tesco, it was the £399 one.
The picture quality is absolutely fine but when I watch blu ray films or play games on the PS3 using the HD settings the sound keeps skipping.
It works fine at all other times and there only seems to be a problem when it is HD mode.

Any help would be much appreciated?

Have you made sure your p3 is set up correctly ?? I seem to remember having to tweak some settings on it for use with the HD output. Can't remember off the top of my head which ones, but on my tv you also need to switch off the hd mode before turning off too. Have a root around the p3 settings as well as your tv ones.

    Thanks gunjack,

I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to this sort of thing. Any idea what the settings would be or where I would find them?
I have been having a play with the ps3 settings and don't seem to be getting anywhere?

    help....

ben - as I said, can't remember off the top of my head, if I get chance I'll have a play...unfortunately it means un-plumbing the p3 from the "playroom" and bringing it downstairs to try it....the kids AND mrs GunJack will give me grief for it :D it may take a few days to get there, will update when done.

p.s. have you downloaded the latest updates for your p3 operating system ?? if not, get online and do it...either direct via a wireless router or download to your pc, burn onto a disc, and load that way...it may just help. Instructions can be found on the p3 europe site, google it and it will appear..

OK i still can't seem to figure this one out, does anybody know what it could be?
It's not the TV, I thought it could be but I took it back and got a new one and it is still doing the same thing?

    It must be the settings?

    any help would be brilliant!

    Cheers.
