Quidco & confused.com?

Hi, I'll try to keep this short!
My car insurance is up for renewal. Did a check through confused.com, decided tescos is the best option. How can I link through from Quidco to save myself another £50? When you go through confused.com, it links you straight to tescos to confirm your policy, so therefore too late for quidco. Confused.com do give u a reference number incase theres a problem with the link, so I jotted that down hoping I could then go through quidco to tesco, and put in my ref number, but it won't let me.
So I decided to up my stress levels and start afresh with tesco, filling out all the lovely information that takes a million years. When I got to the end of the quote it was more than confused.com had quoted!!! :mad: I went thru and checked everything, unticking the legal assistance etc, but it was still more expensive!!! Has anyone else ever had this problem? I really wanna save my extra £50 and dont know why it's so complicated!! I'm confused.com

Nothing you can do. If you want the £50 from Quidco you have to link to tesco through Quidco and not confused.com. I have come across this before too.

Well I did both mine and my OH car insurance last month and went through Quidco and confused. Go back to confused and click on the Tesco quote you want. When you get to the Tesco website it should give you an option to save this quote. Save it with your e mail address and password. Shut down the page and CLEAR COOKIES. Go to quidco, click through the Tesco link and it should say 'retreive your quote'. Do so and pay for it as usual.

I did this with both Sheila wheels and more than and they tracked within 2 hours.
