Which Freeview box?

My Panasonic Freeview box bit the dust last week (well, wouldn't stay on longer than five minutes before it turned itself off) - just bought the Woolworth's WorthIt box for £17, it's going to have to go back. RF loopthrough doesn't work, and Dave is unwatchable (sound dips and picture breaks every 10 seconds or so) - although the other two channels I've tried are fine.
What should I replace it with? I was under the impression that unless you go up to about £70, they're all pretty samey, and they all have defects, but there must be one out there for a decent price which actually works. I don't want a DVR - any suggestions of which to go for?
Cheers!

I bought my father a Bush freeview box for £30 from Tescos last year and can't fault it. It was surprisingly good for the money. If you opt for a big named brand, I would stick with Philips or Panasonic. There's nothing wrong with the Bush, the remote is a little naff affair but that goes for a lot of freeview boxes. I used to take a Sagem away with me before freeview was commonplace but it didn't last long...0

Basically the fault isn't with the new Freeview Receiver, it is with your aerial, the Panasonic has a more sensitive tuner, that's all.
Wharfedale, amongst the cheaper receivers has a very sensitive tuner.
Not all branded receivers have sensitive tuners.0
