Which DVD Recorder?

Sorry if this is a thick question but....

can a DVD recorder be hooked up to a Sky + box? My Sky+ box fills up 'cos I don't get time to watch everything quickly enough so I'd like to transfer things across.

Also - does the Sky+ box hold more in recordings than what can be recorded on a DVD recorder?

I'm looking fr a DVD recorder that will play multi region DVDs and is simple to use.

Sky+ will hold loads more than a DVD. A DVD recorder will hold 4.7gig on each DVD whereas the Sky+ box will hold ummmm, lots more, not sure on the HDD size.

you should be able to hook it up without a problem, can't see why you can't scart them together.
