paint etc. delivered

Hi

Over the space of this year I want to redecorate a few rooms, Kitchen, Study and Living Room. I also want to do a few small jobs in the garden, ,mainly involving weed killing, bush removing and a little project involving a brick and wood seated area...

Anyway I was wondering if anyone knows of any online diy stores that are cheap to buy products off and that also deliver. For the bricks, I am hoping to get them free off freecycle or the local paper, The wood - I have no idea, but I want some really nice stuff. And the paint I will need a kind of cream/linen kind of colour and white gloss.

The only problem is I have recently given up my car, which is why I would need it delivering if possible.

Any Ideas Please......

Almost any store or shop will deliver but you will be asked to pay for delivery! Might it make sense for you to ask around your neighbours/friends if anyone "is going near B & Q next week" and perhaps get a lift that way?

try screwfix, if you spend enough, they deliver free. You may not get too many colour choices on the paint though. and any wood etc will be in bulk, as it is designed for the trade.

Thanks for you replies, We don't really know anybody locally who would give us a lift to B&Q etc. and our families aren't the most helpful bunch either, which is why I was enquiring into delivery. B&Q are asking £20 for a delivery!!!!!!!
Screwfix seem ok, but really I only need two nice big planks (for seats) I will also have a look at the dulux trade centre thanks.

I will have another little look about but it would probably be just as well for me to get a bus and walk to B&Q and then a taxi back, will probably cost a little less than their delivery charge.

if you need timber, then a timber yard would deliver, prob without the £20 charge.

If you can drive, then you can probably rent a van for 2 hours for £20 and get it all in one go, plus do some other jobs.

I use a local independent timnr ,erchant and decorators merchants. Both deliver as part of the service. Maybe worth ringing local companies and asking. They may even do Cash on Delivery.
