Supply Area Confusion

I live in the "Manweb Area" and at my previous house Scottish Power used to provide electricity and the gas was actually calor gas bottles.

In our new house (Jun 2004) I think SP said they don't invoice our area (which is still Manweb area) so we went with BG for dual fuel.

Anybody know why this would be?

When I use the comparisaon sites they always assume I have SP for electricity when I type my postcode in and give quotes for SP.
I like the look of SP's capped tariff but when I go on their website it says it cvan't offer me any savings so ggodbye !!

it depends on post codes. There are 13 main distribution areas in the uk. if you want to send me the first part of the post codes then i will check what area your in or if you look for the mpan number on you bill the first two number of the long number will tell you where you are

16 - Norweb
