Goodness - poor you! I'm a nightmare when there's cream around.
  • These look lovely. Roasted plum and clotted cream tarts. Mmmm. I hate my diet!

Meringue bases, clotted cream in the middle, fresh fruit on top?

Or treat your friends to a clotted cream tea, and slop it into scones ... yummy
  • You can freeze clotted cream, btw. Maybe dose it out into an icecube tray so you can pop a block out next time you have a scone/slice of tart etc.

See but the problem is it has to be eaten tomorrow, hubbs is the only one who can eat it, and he won;t eat it all in one day. So I need something I can make with it (like a cake or something) and then freeze it or something.

What about a home-made trifle? Some tinned fruit set in jelly, tinned custard, topped off with the clotted cream? Home made custard etc is more OS, but just an idea.

Or found this on the bbc site:

Think we're going to have to bin it after all that. It came by post in a special polystyrene box but got stuck at the post office for 2 days so wasn't chilled for atleast 3 days. Don't think it's worth the risk!
