Are you thinking of the new Egg Money card? It is a credit card which pays 4% interest on positive balances and you can use it as a spending card or to get cash out of ATMs.

If so go to their homepage and click on "Egg Money - find out more" in the top right hand box.

It must still be available - but as an option when opening an internet savings account see here: http://new.egg.com/visitor/0,,3_54050--View_451,00.html

The cashcard option gives you ATM access to your cash via LINK machines. In all other respects it functions like the 'internet-only' savings account - with instant paying in via debit card and instant BACS transfers to external accounts

You'll note that the interest rate is a pathethic 0.5% with this option, however. Remember that you can have several accounts with Egg. I would keep the bulk of any cash in the 4.50% 'internet-only' account and simply move cash out to the the cashcard in order to take out via an ATM. [Despite what their site says about money transferred not being withdrawalable until the next day, this is not true - you can withdraw transferred cash at an ATM the same day]

I understood that cashcard was withdrawn 22/7/05. Possibly why you can't find it.
