Thanks for this i have bought one of these and my encloseure is doing the same will get on phone to them asap.
Otherwise really good price and my lil girl is loving it we was going to end up spending more than that on just a trampoline and no encloseure!
they also have 10 ft ones in think they were about £100 ! (if memmory is correct plz check if thinking of purchasing!)
just an update i have now phoned customer services for trampled under foot who manufacture the trampolines and they were lovely no automated sytems and a very friendly vioce at the end new part is on way via parcel force should be here tom 10/10

I'm so glad it's not just me! :j Our enclosure does the same - I will be ringing in the morning to get a new pole.

As far as quality goes - it seems very rugged and the metal seems to be protected - got lovely black hands from whatever was on it to stop rust. But yes - the enclosure was a bit of a swine to attach, not helped by the inaccurate drawing in the instructions:mad: ! However, that apart its great, my kids love it.

Oh - and another point to make when you go to buy a trampoline - they are VERY HEAVY!!! Mine's only the 7.5 foot but it said on the box it was 47kg - and on my own that was a lot. Also - don't go to get one with a small car...:rotfl:

I did a little researchinto trampolines last year and difference in price may be down to a few factors:

    - length of springs and number of spring which affect how much bounce it has and how much weight it can take and still have a reasonable bounce - not sure this would be much of an issue if you were buying for kids unless they are big kids.

    - Number of legs it has - I think (but I'm not 100% certain) the ones with four legs are better than ones with 3.

Asda had a 7 1/2 ft with enclosure in the national papers for about £70.Brother inlaw brought one but the enclosure was a !!!!!! to put on,and stay on.He rang the enquiry line and they are sending him a longer insert/ring (goes round the top of net and attatches to poles). They did mention they have a few calls so beware if you do buy one.

I bought the last 10 foot trampoline for my daughter from Asda yesterday and as it was on display I got it for £70.00 but I do not have any instructions how to erect it. I hope we do not have any trouble with the enclosure as mentioned above as I do not have any paperwork for this apart from the receipt I received. Could anyone tell me where I could obtain a copy of the instructions or who makes this particular trampoline. To tell the truth I do not even know if we have all the pieces to erect the same. Help please someone and thank you.

This is mine. It cost a bit more but it comes with the net and the ladder (and it has 64 springs so it's pretty high quality) There's a warranty with it too but I don't think that covers much.

That looks good. It is considerably more expensive than the cheap deals mentioned on this thread, however it is still a competitive price and impressively takes 150kgs (for any well built keen adult bouncers!) and comes with a 10 year warranty. I think this might be the one for us thanks.

Our neighbour has one from Asda, but my girls have commented that it is 'hard' with much less bounce when compared to other makes. Hopefully this one is a bit better.

The price difference will vary because of

    - number of springs (more springs=more bounce)
    - warranty
    - Build quality
    - Galvanised steel or not (galvanised=no rust=trampoline lasts longer)
    - Fabric on the trampoline bed (cheaper trampolines tend to have rough material that can chaff little knees)
    - Joints. Weldless trampolines are best as they have no weak points in the frame and there are no access points for rust, so your trampoline is safer and lasts longer.

Larger trampolines need more legs for balance they have no impact on the price.

£70 ones from Asda are great for a summer, but are prety unlikely to make it to next year.

Can't you tell I did a LOT of research before I parted with my cash!!!
