Bargain Trampolines: £79.99 for 10ft with enclosure & more

What's the deal?

Large garden trampolines have been getting consistently cheaper for a while, yet it's still common for them to cost nearly £200 at high street retailers such as Argos. Yet at the moment, you can get a 10ft-diameter one, complete with an enclosure to help stop the little'uns falling off for £80, if you're quick enough...

Where can I get one?

With enclosure:

Enclosures provide added safety for lone bouncers, adding sides with netting to stop kids falling off the side of the trampoline. It's still vital for an adult to supervise properly though, this is no substitute.
  • Top Deal: 10ft Trampoline with enclosure & cover, £79.99 in-store.
Bargain supermarket Netto's currently selling a circular trampoline with a diameter of 10 feet, plus a full enclosure and cover for an unbeatable £79.99. Although it's only been on offer for a couple of days, stocks are limited, so go quick if you want one (see store locations), and phone ahead if you plan to make a special trip.

Thanks to MoneySaver buckrogers for originally posting this deal.
  • 10ft Trampoline with enclosure, £99.99 in-store.
Whilst not quite matching the Netto offer, Aldi's reduced the price of its 10ft trampoline & enclosure to £99.99 from £130. Again the offer's in-store only (see store locator) and stock is limited, though not quite as limited as above. Again though, phone in advance if you're out specifically to get one.

Without enclosure:
  • Power2 6ft trampoline £50 delivered.
Web electronics giant ebuyer has diversified into trampolines in time for summer, including this smaller 6ft version for £45. Postage is free on orders over £49.99 at the site, so the cheapest way to get this is to spend another £5 so you qualify (otherwise postage is around £16!). Ebuyer also sells a 10ft version for £74.99 delivered, and a 12ft version for £94.99 delivered.
Seen another bargain trampoline? Post below and we'll add it in.

Stay safe.

Trampolines can be an excellent, fun way to get fit (for both kids and adults), but they can cause injuries too, so it's advisable to take precautions. Follow the guidelines included with the kit, and:
  • Always supervise children on them. It's important to ensure trampolines are supervised at all times when in use, regardless of whether there's an enclosure or not.
  • Don't allow big and small children on together. An older child landing on a smaller one can cause serious injury.
  • Check out your insurance. If you're planning on letting children other than your own use it, consider checking that your home insurance will cover any accidents, or get separate cover. Read Cheapest Home Insurance
Putting it together.

Trampolines are generally very easy to assemble, though you'll need a little strength to put the springs on. Two people working together should manage it in an hour.

Anything else?

The trampolines above are meant for a bit of family fun; they're not cut out for olympic training routines. If you want one that can handle some real punishment you'll have to pay more.

Focus have always sold these for between £99 and £109 season dependant.
Got one the other day. Awesome purchase.
  • Does anyone know if the Netto trampolines are decent? Never bought one before and have been doing some research, sounds as if galvanised steel frames are the ones to go for. What's the net enclosure like? It's for my son's 7th birthday so I want to make sure it's not going to rot in a year!!!

In order to spend the extra £5 from ebuyer to get free delivery on their trampoline, a good choice might be the weatherproof trampoline cover for £5.99.

This is mine. It cost a bit more but it comes with the net and the ladder (and it has 64 springs so it's pretty high quality) There's a warranty with it too but I don't think that covers much.

Cost a bit more ....I would say £195 compared with £79.99 is not a "bit" but a lot.....

Anyway does anyone know what makes these trampolines such a difference in price, and for normal child use does it really matter? I don't mind paying for quality but if it going to rust away in the garden is it worthe the extra. Any advice?
