If you decide to go ahead with this. I've got an old ATI 9200SE 128MB DDR (PCI) card lying around doing nothing. You can have this for free if you like.

    PM me if you're interested.

Oh, and they still have over 200 in stock, but I did note that this number had dropped by about 20 since I started this thread :rotfl:

Fair enough comment 'bout the latest reviews, I should have read further on... :o

The one I was pondering over Acer Aspire T120E Sempron 2800+ 256MB 40GB DVD Card Reader 56k Windows XP Home + MS Works for £200, sold out before I made my mind up so I plumped for this one for £235, Acer Aspire T120E AMD Sempron 2800+ 256MB 40GB CD-RW LAN XPH

There were 400 plus of these when I bought mine, they were out of stock by the weekend. I just wanted you to avoid the frustration I had with the first one, you finally make your mind up to buy and they're sold out... :D

  • Something you all seem to have overlooked -
As soon as you take the side panel off to start chucking all your old HD/VGA cards/memory etc - you can wave bye bye to any warranty they may have offered you.

    Just a thought.

I was lucky. My Medion PC came with a 3 year warranty so, yes, I will still use it if necessary. Medion are reasonable in that they allow upgrades to the machine but obviously don't cover these with the warranty.

    161 left and counting...
