HD tv advice pleez peeps!

I don't post on here very often as by the time I have found a bargain some one has already posted! but i lurve lurking.........

Can anyone please give me some advice as to what to look for in a HD TV. I want to get one but have not got the foggiest as to where to start. Can anyone recommend a bargain. I would like to spend around the £600 mark but will go higher if its a good'en.
