I received a letter and email today from BBVA who run a credit card - The Suite Card. Important customer notice - cancellation of your Suite Card with effect from 1 July 2008. The letter goes on to say I can use it up to 1 July and spend points earned up to 5 Dec 08. My husband has also received this letter. Are we being targetted as non-profitable as we pay off by d/dr every month or does this apply to everyone who has a Suite Card?

The points scheme is being withdrawn from 5th June - there is a note on their website:

It looks as if they are winding the card down to me. There is a link on the website where you can apply for one still:

but it seems a little pointless given the withdrawal of the points scheme in a few days.

Maybe the whole enterprise was not profitable. I can't find anything useful on the group website eithher. Think it's probably time to find a new cashback or loyalty scheme - there's plenty of advice on this topic on the forum.
