RBS - Quick Questions

Dear All
If any one can answer these quick questions on the RBS 9month 0% offer, it would be much appreciated:
1. Are these still fee free? No mention on their website that there is a fee to pay, therefore assuming not.
2. Seems from other discussions that they can take a long time to set up, do you have to BT on opening or can you wait until they send the card? Site appears to indicate BTs throughout the 9 months, (rather than 6 week limit at Lloyds).
3. Does anyone know what maximum credit limits they are offering? I know it depends on circumstances but looking to replace another card.
Many thanks

1. Fee free
2. Fairly quick as you can download your credit agreement on line immediately if accepted, sign & send off.
3. Absolute rubbish. They offered me £1750, upped on appeal to £4K. What use £1750 is when you are in theory given 9 months at 0% for purchases (& BTs) is a mystery whch is compounded by the holiday offers insert with the statements which you couldn't book as yor credit limit would probably be too low!!Ethical moneysaver0 -
Hi
I have to second Realale's views.
The creidt limits are dire and you therefore have to wonder if it's worth applying at all because they will do a creiidt check even to give you a worthless limit.
I would steer clear and go for someone else e.g. IF who offer 0%. That's who I chose.
Alternatively you could try http://www.stoozing.com/0fees.htm for a definitive list0 -
Thank you - have processed the application and am currently waiting to hear (not an instant response - does this mean likely rejection? Maybe I should not have put information about potential transfers at this stage).
Ah well, we will wait and see.

Update - rejected as apparently do not meet their credit scoring and as a "responsible lender" etc. Annoying really - although I know I have available credit over double my salary (is this a lot?), more than 2/3 of this is on cards that are of no use to stooze (including my old NatWest which was my first card over 15 years ago and I have some form of sentimental attachment to, but over £10k limit that I never need or use - any experience of them letting you have the new offer?). Now my decision is whether to start cancelling the cards that don't offer stooze opportunities and keep one for normal spends (currently Sainsbury's on 0% and 1% cashback) - I suppose some may offer another offer to stay ...?

Try Mint, if you haven't already. They're operated by RBS, but are a lot more free with their lending. For example, I got an RBS card with £3,100 which they grudging upped to £3,700. I thought Mint would almost certainly reject me when I applied a month later, but they gave be double that amount, and immediately went up another thou when I asked.0

Haven't tried them for stoozing - had a card from them years ago (cannot remember why!) - may wait a few months and get to coincide with end of Egg Anniversary (I see they charge for first 3 months, therefore may get if a high limit likely then use effectively as a 6 months fee free transfer).
