My laptop died last week and my brother gave me his. However, when I would do a google etc. if I had searched before, I would only need to put in the first letter and the whole word would come up. [Does this make sense?

Another example---when I would order something and start to insert my email address, it would be automatically completed for me.
Is there a way to alter settings?

Tools/Internet Options/Content/Autocomplete.
Nothing to do with Google....will do it on all (except https???) IE forms with fill-in boxes. Or you could download the Google toolbar which has a nice Autofill facility.illegitimi non carborundum0 -
