Hi,
Sorry you are having problems - they are great machines. I *think* I have read that this can happen (rarely), and the first thing to do is perform a reset.
I you are running software v 1.4, this can be done by:-
A reset option is provided to enable you to reset your unit. This removes all presets, stored stations and favourite station
settings and resets all options to defaults. Performing an autotune process will solve most problems but you may want
to use this option if you move house or want to restore default values to options you have changed.
To select the reset option:
1. Press and hold the Setup button for more than two seconds. The display will show ‘Press Tune to confirm reset’.
Release the Setup button.
2. Press the Tune knob to confirm the reset or press no buttons for around seven seconds to cancel the reset.
(which I have taken from the online manual available here)
Sorry - all I can suggest, best of luck. Please be aware that you will have to retune your presets after a full reset.

Perhaps look at Pure's technical support on their website? There is a link to an email form at the bottom of that webpage. Pure are supposed to be a fairly responsive firm...
