Privilege Car Insurance

I've been with my current insurer (Direct Line) for 5 years now and each year I search for quotes but they have consistently been cheaper for like for like cover, including excess. I also know from a friend that they are excellent in the event of an accident. However, this year I've found a cheaper quote from Privilege who will also let me pay by installments with no additional fee.
Has anyone experience of Privilege in the event of an accident?
Thanks in advance
Duncan

Privilege were bought by Direct Line several years ago. If you look at the bottom of the Privilege website it says:
Privilege Insurance is underwritten by Direct Line Insurance plc which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Registered office: 3 Edridge Road, Croydon, Surrey, CR9 1AG. Registered in England No. 1810801. FSA registered No. 202684. Conditions apply. Calls may be recorded. In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move. The late, great, Douglas Adams.0 -
Have you tried doing a new quote from Direct Line? They are offering interest free installments on new policies at the moment as well.0
