How do I stop so many things opening up ata startup? Do I have to individually check the options in different programmes?
thanksShanni0 -
no, if you go to the start button, bootm left of the screen, then click on Run, type msconfig and then click ok. A box will open up and one of the tabs is start-up
untick the ones you know you want to stop and then any you are not sure about google to find out what they are before you untick them..
if any you untick cause problems then you can do the above agin and tick the relevant boxEx forum ambassador

There's a website at http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php which describes loads of start up items and may help you decide which items you want to untick0
