Sneaky Saving & Ethics

Where do i start? Job has been terminated due to long term health problem that prevented me from doing my job. I was expecting this.
What i was not expecting though was to get my pension contributions back, I have £3200.

This was a nice suprise but now puts me in a dilemma. i currently owe several credit card companies just over £30,000 which i have no way of paying off, Benefits only income.

Looks like bankruptcy is my only option.

Cards are in my name only not my wife, Do i pay my rent arrears and put the rest in my wifes account? Or do i offer what little is left between the card companies?

Advice please.
