Saturday's Times and Guardian said that KE had increased their 1 year deal from 6.86% up to 7.01%. Looks good, but I can find no mention of it on their website. Anyone else verify this?

Indeed, as LongTermLurker has said here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=11354039&postcount=5
and Mickey Monk has said here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=11369599&postcount=1"Kaupthing are raising their rate to 7.01% according to Telegraph (still showing 6.86% on website but keep an eye out)
...they're also dropping the opening balance from £5k to £1k
instant access is dropping from £1k to £100 and I think interest on that is set to rise as well.""Kaupthing Edge 12 month Fixed term account is now paying 7.01% gross interest & they have reduced the minimum deposit to £1000 too.
The website front page is still advertising the old 6.86% rate but when I logged in to my account it shows the following.
06 MONTH FIXED TERM 6.85 %
12 MONTH FIXED TERM 7.01 %
36 MONTH FIXED TERM 7.16 %"
Just need to wait I suppose for Kaupthing Edge to update their website...0
